Neck of the Woods announced it was closing in June 2026 after eleven years, and then its community raised around a hundred and sixty thousand dollars to keep it open. That tells you most of what you need to know about the place. It runs as a bar, live music room and gallery space on K Road, with a stated Safe and Sound policy that it takes seriously, and a crowd that is there for the music rather than to be seen. Programming is club-led with live shows through the week. It opens Friday and Saturday nights and runs to four in the morning. Tickets for most events. Twenty-seven minutes uphill from the Viaduct, or ten in a car.
